With beginnings that trace back to 1973 in Columbus, Montana, the Montana Siliversmith company was the realization of a dream of a local rancher. Originally focused on building buckles in a small, custom shop for people in the community, the company soon expanded to creating western and custom buckles for people around the world. By 1976, the company’s offerings stretched even further to include jewelry items made from sterling silver, gold and precious stones.

From every bevel-cut to every tiny etch, the craftsmanship behind every piece has been meticulously planned and perfectly executed. Each piece must then pass through a rigorous design and development process that includes quality testing and sampling in a variety of color finishes to ensure the piece meets the company’s exacting standards.
