Our horse highline tree saver straps are easy to use and prevent your highline rope from cutting into and damaging tree bark. 6-foot long straps with rings easily adapt to just about any size tree.
Tree Saver Straps are highly recommended by the Leave No Trace backcountry ethics cooperative effort of the US Forest Service, the US Department of Interior, the National Park Service and the US Fish and Wildlife Service when putting horses on a picket line. Additionally, the US Forest Service Wilderness Regulation #36CFR261.6 states that damaging any tree or vegetation is a violation resulting in a $200.00 fine.
