Single jointed snaffle with a slow twist which may be useful with horses who grab or lean on the bit. By twisting the bit, thin ridges are formed which act as pressure points on the bars , lips and tongue. This makes the bit unpleasant to lean on. It can be helpful in lightening the contact of horses who otherwise "block" the bit but can be a severe bit in the wrong hands. Eggbutt cheeks keep the bit more stable in the horse's mouth.
